Welcome Patreon Members!
This idea of a newsletter is somewhat new to me. I’ve always just put content out there on blogs, but the internet world is changing. This monthly newsletter, starting at just $1.00 per month, will contain so much fun from now into the future. I think I will just post the new stories out there at $1.00 to $20.00 (mature content) for you to read or hear when they come out and keep this newsletter about the happenings here at Scary Story Time.
First, I hope you had a wonderful 4th of July. The Fourth is one of my favorite holidays because I love the fireworks and my country so I try to go all out and have fun. I do hope you enjoyed yours as well.
Update 7/11/2018
I haven’t been very good at updating this because the newsletter started so late in the game. I am updating the one for August daily. With Midnight Monsters starting to attract guests and hosts, I have been busy setting up appointments. It has gone from a call in show to a host show where people can call and ask the host questions and then maybe it will evolve where one day per week people call in. I think this is the best way to get interest right now. Maybe when it goes Wednesday through Sunday we can have an “Open Line Friday” where people call in their stories. It has to grow first. Please do like it on facebook if you don’t already. This weekend, on the 15th, we have a real treat with a Bishop Exorcist James Cloud from the Paranormal Research Investigators of St. Michael This is going to be fun!
The next 6 months of Sundays are still open. On the 28th of October we’ve scheduled the AfterDark Paranormal Team. There are a few spots left in between! LOL I’m sure they will up quickly.
Other than that, I have been trying to get the YouTube views up to 240,000 minutes and openly inviting new friends on facebook to enjoy the YouTube videos. After I reach that number and reapply for the YouTube partner program then I will focus mainly on the podcast. I might even just do YouTube once per week at that point so I can focus on making really cool videos with my own content and story, maybe even music. I don’t know. YouTube is killing its horror creators and I would rather use it to forward people to the podcast and newsletter but I really want to create creepy videos with props and overall fun scary stuff. We’ll see.
For patreon news only, I am starting a new novel that I need a title for. My son says that Taco Truck gives it away too easily. Then again, it’s not about cannibalism so maybe not. The made up town of Escalofriante, California is the setting. This quaint little town East of the San Francisco Bay area is the home of not more than 20,000 residents and no less than 19,995. It is a number that has never changed since its growth in the computer era and no one knows why until the mass explosion of people from 2006 to 2017 and then all havoc breaks loose. People are going crazy everywhere and dying yet no one knows why, that is until a lone drifter figures out the secret of the old Western town.
OK I don’t know when I plan to finish this. I want to send it to a publisher as a novel. I might publish a few chapters as teasers. Until then I will keep writing short stories. I am thinking about making a collection of all of my stories and publishing them in an anthology on Amazon Kindle under my pen name Sarah Marshall McClanahan. I might even use the name Isabella. I haven’t decided yet as both are relatives anyone would be proud of. That whole name is made up of relatives that have helped build the country and fought for our own since the 12th century.
I suppose I will close this newsletter for July. I didn’t mean for it to be so short or so late coming. I work full time and have a family plus I borrow my son’s computer for doing all of this. It is actually pretty amusing, but I love writing and creating videos and podcasts using my voice and obscure video talents so I will not stop until I drop (around 120 years.) Expect the next newsletter to be full of good stuff. If there is anything you would like to see in the newsletter please do let me know.
