How to Play Spooky Boo’s Scary Story Time on Your Alexa

Hey it’s Spooky Boo!

This is so cool. My podcast Spooky Boo’s Scary Story Time is now available on your Alexa. It’s really fun and easy to start playing the podcast.

The easiest way is just to say “Alexa, play podcast Scary Story Time” and right out of the box it will work! This will work with Alexa and Siri. I don’t know if it works with Google Home because I don’t have Google Home. On my Android it doesn’t work, it simply brings up a totally unrelated video on YouTube so don’t bother. To play on the Android, either use the Android link in the menu above or use Stitcher.

  1. From amazon, visit Stitcher from this link and click on the Enable button to teach your Alexa the required skill.
  2.  Next, tell your device: “[Alexa], ask Stitcher to play Spooky Boo’s Scary Story Time.”

It will then begin with the latest story posted to the podcast. Stitcher also supports the following standard Alexa commands: Pause, Play, Resume, Next, Previous, Start Over, Help Example: “Alexa, pause”

I grew up in Santa Rosa, California so going to fun events in the Bay Area was always easy for my family. Every year for Halloween we would go to Great America and enjoy the Halloween fun, but there was one year where we really didn’t have enough money to do so and my mom’s boss gave her tickets for the night at the Winchester Mystery House. We had the flashlight tour and VIP tickets. With the flashlight tour they turn off all of the lights and give each person a flashlight to roam around in the dark.
